Almeno 21 persone sono morte negli Stati Uniti a causa di una violenta tempesta che ha investito l’area centrale. Decine i feriti. Il Kentucky e il Missouri sono stati gli Stati più colpiti.
Nel Kentucky le autorità hanno detto che si prevede un aumento del bilancio delle vittime, finora salite a 14. Nel Missouri 7 le persone uccise dal maltempo e circa 5 mila gli edifici danneggiati, secondo i funzionari statali.
Service, il servizio meteorologico statunitense, ha diffuso un allarme per tornado e allagamenti su un’area di 1.900 chilometri quadrati.
